Children will be supported with online learning through guided adult supervision. We ask that someone over the age of 18 be present during each session. The health and safety of our students is important. Lastly at the end of each session parents/guardians will be notificied of the students progress.
Yes, safety is our number one property. The online learning approach is here to support parents who are not comfortable yet with face-to-face learning or therapy. At Able Academy we are surviving to stop the spread of COVID-19 by staying socially distanced until we can resume in-person learning.
Positive change can vary case by case. We will create goals and a behavioral plan that will set each child up for success. The inital plan will be outlined between parents, teachers and their specialist. Academic and behavioral growth comes when all that are involved in that students life stay on one accord.
The therapy will only work through repetition. Positive reinforcement and encouragement are the keys to each students success. At Able Academy our words and actions will set the tone and narrow the possibility to academic set backs. We will support parents/guardians through the learning process and help to answer any questions they may have about their student.
